In studies on police tasks around the world, we can find that in many countries in the world, the most important task in preventing the crime is up to police force. For example, in England, this task is up to police (Bayat et al. 143: 1387). Is it the sole task of police in this kind of society If we look at this subject with wide shot, the answer absolutely is negative. It is clear that the most important task of police, is preventing the crimes, but it is not only the police task, but there is different organizations, systems and different institutions which have considerable effects on socializing the adults and other people. So, focusing on social prevention more than other methods is more advantage for police. It seems that policewoman, especially because of oral communication in social prevention comparing to men police, is more successful. Devolving council and social helping to women police confirmed the mentioned issue. In this paper we try to using documental method and studying the resources, after defining the social prevention concepts based on theatrical definition, to result to the most important role of social organization in socializing process of families, schools, and media and polices in order to prevent the crimes. The interactional role of policewomen is evaluated. Finally we can say that social prevention of crimes is not the only task of policewomen, but all the responsible institutions in society have involved. If each system does its tasks properly, it would be so easy to prevent the crimes and incorporate all the systems. Finally, we suggested that to attain the social prevention in society, all responsible units are cooperating and trusted to police.

This research explored Bahraini policewomen’s attitudes towards gender integration of their police force. It tests two duelling hypotheses. The first hypothesis, embracing the modernization model of the development of women in policing, predicts that younger generations of policewomen will be more likely to show support for gender integration. The second hypothesis is that the shift in the Bahraini culture from a nationalist secular feminism in the 1970s to the present neo-conservative Islamism predicts that younger generations of policewomen are less likely to support gender integration. In 2005, a survey was distributed to all Bahraini policewomen (N = 241) with 46% (N = 112) returning the completed questionnaire. Results from multiple regression analysis show that neither hypotheses satisfactorily predicted variations in Bahraini policewomen’s attitudes towards gender integration. Suggestions for more nuanced theories were offered to frame analyses of gender and policing in cultural contexts like Bahrain.
